Implementation

The strength of the Contract Communicator system lies in its real-term applicability to the specific needs of the project it is being implemented on. This is achieved through a customization process which takes place during the implementation of the system.

The customization is based either on a risk analysis performed by a Contract Communicator consultant or on a questionnaire completed by a person within your organization. As such, the following implementation options exist:


Option 1: Consultant-assisted

Contract Communicator is implemented as part of a 4-step risk mitigation process developed with construction law experts and applied to your project by a consultant. The process consists of the following components:

  1. Comprehensive contract risk analysis

    The project documentation is analyzed in detail by construction lawyers to identify the risks and opportunities the project team will be exposed to.

  2. Project simulation training

    Training is conducted with the members of the project team to ensure the key role players are able to recognize, appreciate and understand the contract risks and opportunities. Training is not performed using the traditional theoretical approach but rather through the use of the Project Simulation Training Programme®, a unique simulated project environment that develops practice through experience.

  3. Contract Communicator implementation

    Contract Communicator is customized to meet the specific requirements of the project. Users are assigned appropriate access and undergo a group training session. Use of the system commences immediately once training has been completed.

  4. Ongoing system monitoring

    Once Contract Communicator has been implemented, a consultant monitors Contract Communicator to ensure that the project gains maximum benefit from the implementation of the system. Technical support is provided to all registered users.


Option 2: Self-assisted

Contract Communicator is implemented without employing our consulting services. Instead you complete a questionnaire answering various questions regarding the project and supply it to Contract Communicator.

Upon receipt of the completed questionnaire the system is customized based on the information received. Appropriate training is conducted with the project team following which Contract Communicator is implemented and use of it commences immediately.
